This is pretty smooth trail, and it’s not steep except near the top, so it’s not as difficult as the mileage and elevation gain would suggest. We missed the trail on the way down from the first view, incorrectly heading towards Mt. Lafayette for a time instead of back to the Garfield parking lot.
